We want this to be a pleasant experience for you, therefore we want to be sure that you are well informed about the purchase plan and the process; consequently the following questions are being asked of you. If we can be of further assistance, we are only a phone call away! We will let you know that we received your order, and in January we will begin to notify share customers of the approximate date of delivery of your animal to the meat plant, followed by an final update on delivery.

Please acknowledge that you have read our brochure, spoken to us, or reviewed our website, and understand the Beef Purchase Plan. 

 

I understand that I will pay The Sell Farm, LLC (Sell) the guaranteed price of $1.80 per pound of live weight plus the sales tax on this amount in effect in the county of delivery - presently 7% in Newton County.

 

I authorize The Sell Farm, LLC to set up my animal's processing at Capes Sausage Company's Meat plant according to my instructions and I understand that the Plant is solely responsible for providing the harvest, aging, cutting, wrapping, labeling, and freezing of my meat. I also understand that I must pay Capes’ charges of about $98 per quarter prior to pickup. 

 

I understand that the price paid for the live animal is guaranteed for the interval stated at the top of this form, however I also understand that the processor’s fee or the sales tax may change and that I will be responsible for the change.  Estimated total price presently is about $651/quarter

 

I understand that I must send the final checks to both The Sell Farm, LLC and Capes within one week of receiving the final invoice.

 

I also understand that I am NOT buying a beef product (meat) from Sell, but I am buying a share of a live animal and that I assume ownership on the day of delivery at the Meat Plant.  

 

I also understand that each animal will be different as to weight and yield of the final meat product; I also understand that the Sell Farm’s published estimates of the number of packs and portions are just that - an estimate - and not guaranteed.

 

I understand that I must pick up the beef product at Capes' plant near Covington, between the dates that will be specified in the final bill.

 

The following payment plan is available for carcass shares.

I am interested in setting up a personalized prior payment schedule for the Sell Farm’s portion of the cost rather than paying the full balance (minus deposit) at the time of delivery. I understand that The Sell Farm, LLC will bill me at the desired frequency indicated below.

For the amount of deposit required see below.

Note: You will receive a reply from us either by e-mail, phone or post that we have received your deposit and any future payments. If you do not hear from us within 10 days, please let us know, because some checks have been lost in the mail system - luckily never cashed! Should your circumstances change and you need to defer purchase notify us immediately.

Your deposit for quarter share(s) customers only will be refunded only if we are able to fill your order slot with another customer. Note: the current price for beef is that listed on this website, if the form you have in your possession is different from that published here, please note that the price is as advertised on our website on the date of your check when you make your deposit.

For Quarter Share Customers: The Sell Farm, LLC guarantees delivery of a healthy live animal to the meat plant. You assume no risk for prior death loss, or anything else up to and including the delivery to the meat plant. At delivery, the Meat Plant is totally responsible for harvest, aging, cutting, wrapping and delivery to you. The Sell Farm, LLC wants you to be satisfied with the quality of the meat product from your calf. We will do what is right, because we want you to be a repeat customer! We will furnish directions, time of operation, and balance due us about three weeks before the beef is ready to be picked up. If you have problems or concerns contact us.
